سنتحدث عن أكبر وأعقد المشاريع الهندسية في التاريخ  اضخم واطول منشأة بحرية على وجه الأرض وأكبر منصة عائمة في العالم وأكبر جسم في العالم تقوم بتحريكه اليد البشرية :  منصــــة Troll-A  The Troll-A Platform إن منصة (Troll-A) للبحث عن الغاز هي أكبر منصة عائمة شكلها المهندسون في وسط البحر حيث تحتوي على روابط هندسية دقيقة ومعقدة لم تكن موجودة في أي منصة أخرى وتعتبر ثورة هندسية هائلة في عالم إنشاء المنشآت العملاقة وتعتبر أيضاً طموح لكل مهندس مصمم حين يرى هذا الصرح العظيم وأيضاً طموح لكل دارس ومهتم في هذا المجال وإن هذه المنصة هي أكبر شاهد على ذكاء العقل المفكر البشري لما فيها من إبداعات وتفاصيل هندسية رائعة - أنشأت هذه المنصة لسحب الغاز الطبيعي من اعماق المحيط الأطلسي وضخها عبر انابيب إلى الدول الأوربية - بدأ الحفر لبناء منصة (troll-a) في شهر حزيران عام 1991 من قبل شركة مقاولات نرويجية - تقع منصة (Troll-A) على بعد 112Km من مدينة النروج في وسط بحر الشمال العاصف - تم سحبها في بحر الشمال في عام 1996، ليبدأ تشغيلها وفي نفس العام دخلت هذه المنصة كتاب غينيس العالمي كأكبر منصة غاز بحرية - ترتفع المن
